Black Limba End Grain board with Peruvian Walnut Boarder
Black Limba is a very interesting wood that offers very unique patterns and figures when shown in an end grain board. It is also a softer wood that is very easy on your knives and consequently will show very little knife marks if any. This is a large counter board with large rubber feet that will be your ultimate work surface while being a joy to look at. The deep black of the Peruvian Walnut adds great contrast.
All boards are twice soaked in mineral oil and finished with a hot liquid application of my Wallace Board Butter. This allows deep penetration into the wood's fibers for lasting protection.
With every purchase I include a 2 oz. tin of my food-safe oil and wax Board Butter to maintain your board plus printed directions for care.
