Black Limba and Curley Maple End Grain Cutting Board
Black Limba is an interesting wood that offers very unique patterns and figures when shown in an end grain board. It is also a softer hardwood that is very easy on your knives and consequently will show very little knife marks if any. This board is edged with Curley Maple adding a beautiful contrast to the dark figures in the Black Limba.
This is a smaller board but is a very handy size. Perfect for those smaller cuts of a piece of fruit or serving cheese and crackers.
All boards are twice soaked in mineral oil and finished with a hot liquid application of my Wallace Board Butter. This allows deep penetration into the wood's fibers for lasting protection.
With every purchase I include a 2 oz. tin of my food-safe oil and wax Board Butter to maintain your board plus printed directions for care.
